Poppy Playtime recently released a trailer for its second chapter, Fly in a Web, which left fans wondering when Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 would be released. While the trailer didn’t include a release date, it did reveal details about the game's upcoming second chapter and its antagonist. Many online had originally theorized that the latest installment of Poppy Playtime would be released in March, although this obviously did not come to pass. However, new information has surfaced that potentially hints at Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 releasing later in April.Survival horror video game Poppy Playtime launched in October 2021 for PC, then later ported to Android and iOS in early March 2022. The game combines horror and puzzles, seeing the player step into the first-person role of a former employee visiting their former place of work, the now-abandoned toy factory. Poppy Playtime’s antagonists are vengeful toys, reminiscent of Five Nights At Freddy’s terrifying animatronics. MOB Games released the Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 official trailer on February 22, giving its players a first look at the upcoming chapter. In the trailer, the audience is introduced to a new antagonist, taking over the role from Chapter 1’s main antagonist, Huggy Wuggy. The trailer gives players a preview of Chapter 2’s gameplay, most notably a newly-added green hand for the GrabPack. The trailer concludes with Chapter 2’s antagonist, Mommy Long Legs, emerging from the shadows, and revealing the new chapter’s title, Fly in a Web, which corresponds with her spider-like appearance. One thing the trailer lacks, however, is the new chapter’s release date, which now appears to be confirmed thanks to updates to Steam.

Although the initial trailer for Poppy Playtime Chapter 2: Fly in a Web didn't reveal a release date, new information courtesy of SteamDB (via Gamereactor) appears to confirm that the game will arrive April 29. SteamDB tracks all changes made to Steam and recently updated Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 with a new late April release date, also saying that the chapter will be available to download 19:00 UTC on that day, which converts to 12:00 PT and 15:00 ET respectively.
While many online had hoped for March 2022 release for Poppy Playtime's next chapter, it appears as if those estimations where off by about a month. Current indications point toward Chapter 2: Fly in a Web being available to play soon, although the game’s developers are playing their cards close to their chest. Fortunately for MOB Games, the widespread excitement over the game's upcoming chapter indicates fans have already forgiven the Poppy Playtime's short-lived foray into the world of video game NFTs.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 Release Date May Have Been Leaked

Here comes the big reveal for Poppy Playtime Chapter 2: Fly In A Web. MOB Games has unveiled additional details and information regarding the upcoming sequel. They have just published a teaser trailer and put up their Steam listing. Chapter 2 may now be wishlisted on Steam. However, fans were most interested when Poppy Playtime Chapter 2’s release date was inadvertently revealed.
[UPDATE] MOB Games posted a series of tweets with torn parts of a poster:
Numerous viewers noticed that the signature in the lower-left corner appears to be “10th of May”. We can only hope that this will be true, given that the SteamDB leak said that the game was supposed to be published last April 29th. Anyway, all we can do is …. wait. 😣

The DLC will be out on April 29, 2022, at 9:00 p.m. CEST, as per SteamDB, a site that archives the Steam database. It’s worth noting that this information has been edited and now says, “Coming Soon”.

With the “leaked” date, which appears to be legit, allowing this new chapter to be Wishlisted has allowed for more information to be discovered through the file’s contents. There are many new features, characters, and locations that we’ll see in this sequel, which is longer than the original.

If you don’t have the basic game, Poppy Playtime, you can’t play Chapter 2. Chapter 2 will be “three times longer than Chapter 1” according to its authors, which speaks well for the new narrative.
What’s in store for those that take a risk? Every day brings a fresh set of “Creepy puzzles and toys” as well as the looming menace of Mommy herself.

Of course, there will be plenty of room for new toys. This company’s background is revealed via more figures than only the terrifying spider Mommy Long Legs. Only a small portion of Poppy Playtime Chapter 2’s secrets remain to be unearthed.
Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, and most likely what is beyond these gloomy, abandoned premises will eventually be revealed to us after a long wait. Is Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 going to finally get us out of the factory?

It will not come On april 29, cuz first:
-They deleted in the faq that ”chapter 2 is set for April”
– They said they will be informed a week before the release of chapter 2 (and they would tell us about it)
– the release date on the steam DB says ”might be wrong”
So here are the reasons why it won’t come on APRIL 29!

I checked it at exactly 9:00 pm like the description said but it still hasn’t come out so mob games basically lied about the release date or it was steamcommunity.com.

In the first teaser, Poppy mentions a "mother" and how she does not like guests, which refers to the main antagonist of the story, now confirmed to be Mommy Long Legs.
This is the second chapter to have a trailer and the first one to have a teaser trailer.
The door to the Theatre is open in the beginning of the trailer, which may hint that Chapter 2 will be set in this location. However, this is not confirmed.
Chapter 2 is confirmed to be longer than Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze, specifically over an hour long and include difficult puzzles.
An android port will be released at the same time as the windows version.
In the trailer, a new function for the GrabPack is introduced, where The Player is seen using it a grappling hook.
A green hand will replace the red hand on the GrabPack, as seen in the trailer. This new hand will be able to collect electricity and transfer it anywhere without requiring a wired connection, unlike the red and blue hands. There is no confirmation that the green hand has other functions as of yet.
