This is regarding part of a Leigh Powell's lovely observations on the song "This Is the Day"; Sunday, the day Christians set aside for corporate worship...... In the Genesis true account of creation, the heavens and the earth were created in 6 days, and on the seventh, the Lord rested." May I be so humble as to observe that there are also Christians who experience corporate worship on Saturday, the seventh weekly day, for the very reason Leigh put forth for Sunday observance? And thank you, Leigh for reminding us all that God is still creating, yes, daily, in each of our hearts as we invite His presence through the indwelling Holy Spirit.

When my son was a young cub scout, he was invited by a friend to attend church for Scout Sunday. I joined him, and this was one of the hymns that was sung. I got embroidered into my soul, and occasionally returns to my thoughts. I believe it returns to me like it did this morning, when God thinks I need that reminder.
