Over? 'Temptation Island's' Ashe Talks Relationship With Hania — and "Shocking" Final Bonfire (EXCLUSIVE)

If there's one couple from Season 4 of Temptation Island that is better off leaving the show broken up, it's Hania and Ashe.

Yes, a couple of the other relationships have undeniable troubles too, but Ashe (whose pronouns are they/them) has said numerous times how much Hania mistreats them as his significant other.

So, are Ashe and Hania from Temptation Island still together?

Ashe was the first person in a relationship to cheat this season. They found it easy to move on from Hania because Hania had continuously disappointed them as a boyfriend. He referred to Ashe as a friend more often than not, and it was Hania who wanted an open relationship with Ashe.

Once Ashe made the decision to sleep with one of the singles (Taylor), Ashe seemed freed in a way, and uninterested in making anything work with Hania. Can you really blame them?

Distractify spoke exclusively with Ashe about their experience on reality TV and where they stand with both Hania and Taylor today.

When we asked Ashe about their relationship with Hania now, they couldn't reveal too much without giving away the Temptation Island finale. But they did hint at Hania still being up to his old tricks of mind games and garnering sympathy from others through what Ashe called "theatrics" on the show.

"I am always going to be honest with Hania forever," Ashe said. "I'm still saying the stuff that I said on the show to his face when needed."

Since Hania and Ashe had been in a relationship for less than two years when they went on Temptation Island, there's a good chance that Ashe exploring life without him when the two were apart for filming led to Ashe realizing they didn't need Hania as much as they thought.

Ashe got close to some of the single women on 'Temptation Island.'

Whether or not Ashe ended the show single, they left with a new BFF. And honestly, that's the greatest gift of all. They shared with us that they got close to Brianna, even though she's one of the single women from the guys' separate villa. Ashe and Brianna got so close that Ashe recently traveled to Las Vegas to see her.

Ashe was also drawn to Juicy at the start of the season, but for a different reason than friendship.

"I had actually wanted to take Juicy on a date," Ashe revealed. "They edited it all funny. The first thing we did [when we saw the episode] was text each other. She's like, 'That's not what happened.'"

Ashe is also close to Karyna, who got close to Hania of all people during filming. But, Ashe says now, "She should have gotten paid so much more [on the show] just for all the free labor she was doing," in reference to her connection with Hania.

The final 'Temptation Island' bonfire is full of ups and downs.

The last bonfire of the season allows the couples to reunite and decide once and for all if they should be together. Viewers have seen Luke pick out an engagement ring and Hania insist that he wants to be with Ashe.

We also have Lascelles, who is still torn between his girlfriend of seven years and the woman he met just a few weeks previously. And Gillian and Edgar seem like they are over for good already. According to Ashe, there's a lot to look forward to.

"I think some people are going to be really shocked," they shared. "There's going to be some confusion about things and then there's gonna be a lot of clapping. People are gonna be really really happy … you're gonna go through like the full range of every single emotion in 40 minutes."

Are Taylor and Ashe still friends after 'Temptation Island'?

Ashe sleeps with Taylor pretty early in the season. But the connection Ashe forms with the single makes them realize they deserve more than the relationship they had with Hania.

Taylor likes Ashe too, but he tells them in one of the last episodes of the season that he thinks Ashe should take time to figure out who they are rather than lean on another romantic partner.

"Taylor's a special guy," Ashe told Distractify. "That's really all I can say now."

Honestly, the most important thing is that Ashe is happy after Temptation Island, no matter what happens at the end.

‘Temptation Island‘ is an addictive dating reality show that revolves around committed couples who are put together with a group of attractive singles on a breathtaking island to test their relationships. Over each season, the couples navigate whether they leave together with a better understanding of each other or taste the waters of temptation while interacting with the singles. It is adapted from the Dutch show ‘Blind Vertrouwen’ (‘Blind Faith’) and features Mark L. Walberg as the presenter. Now, let’s have a look at the couples from the eventful fourth season and where they stand today.

Are Ash and Hania Still Together?

Ash Lamiroult and Hania Stocker had been dating for 18 months when they first arrived on the island. As per Ash, she was unsure of transitioning into long-distance with her boyfriend, especially after he expressed interest in an “open relationship.” Their trust issues got elevated with the arrival of the singles when Hania began flirting with other women and even confessed on-screen that he had been unfaithful to Ash. On the other hand, Ash decided to pursue her new connection with single Taylor Patrick, despite still having some attachment toward Hania.

Eventually, Taylor and Ash consummated their relationship, while Hania realized that maybe he isn’t too comfortable with open relationships. At the moment, neither of them has made it explicitly clear whether they are still together or not. They still follow each other on social media and have not yet deleted their pictures together. Moreover, Ash and Taylor don’t seem to be following each other, but given how things transpired with her partner, we believe that she may be choosing to give herself some time to heal and live her best life as a single, strong, and independent woman.

Are Ashley and Lascelles Still Together?

One of the longest relationships in ‘Temptation Island’ season 4 was between New Yorkers Ashley Rodriguez and Lascelles Lagares, who had been together for a good seven years. However, apart from her being anxious as to why he hadn’t proposed already, they both admitted to being extremely co-dependent on each other; hence, they wished to improve their strengths on the show. However, despite having such a solid foundation in their relationship, things became a bit shaky when Lascelles began emotionally connecting with single Trace Winningham, thus deeply affecting his girlfriend.

Lascelles also went on to admit that he had fallen for Tracy but did not wish to hurt Ashley, who still wanted to work on their relationship and leave the island together. Following the wrap-up of their season, it looks like things aren’t that great between the two. Having said that, Ashley and Lascelles continue operating their joint social media channels on Instagram and YouTube. Even though they post individual content, they keep commenting on each other’s videos and pictures.

Furthermore, they still follow each other on social media, and their feeds still feature images of them together. Therefore, from what we can tell, Ashley and Lascelles are still on cordial terms with each other, if not back together. As far as the current standing of Tracy and Lascelles’ connection is concerned, they don’t seem to be connected on social media and are seemingly not in a relationship.

Are Iris and Luke Still Together?

Seattle-based Entrepreneurs Iris Jardiel and Luke Wechselberger had been dating for over four years when they decided to take a leap of faith and join the other couples and the sizzling singles on the island. The show was meant to put their relationship to the ultimate test, but cracks soon began to show when Luke’s insecurities and trust issues with his girlfriend’s interactions with the singles fueled arguments. In addition, he also began flirting with other single ladies to overcome his jealousy and admitted that he would not mind cheating if he found Iris connecting to another man.

However, to everyone’s surprise, Luke had a complete change of heart halfway through the season and started improving his behavior to win back his girlfriend. He realized he likely needed to step up in his efforts to assure Iris of his love and even went on to buy a ring to propose to her before the season’s final bonfire. Even though Luke was prepared for the next step in their relationship, the couple have not yet made it official if they did get engaged.

However, as far as we can observe, Luke’s changed nature and determination might definitely have some effect on Iris. Not just that, she gave up her connection with Deac Conti, and the couple did not cheat on each other even once throughout the season. Hence, we believe that even if Iris did not say yes to the proposal, she and Luke may still be considering giving themselves another chance.

Are Gillian and Edgar Still Together?

College sweethearts Gillian Lieberman and Edgar De Santiago came to the show to explore beyond their three-year relationship, as she wished to experience single life. In addition, she confessed to Mark L. Walberg that she was unsure of wanting a future together with Edgar and proceeded to connect with single Tommy Soltis on the island. Edgar was visibly upset seeing them and began questioning Gillian’s loyalty toward their relationship. Later, Edgar moved on with single Marissa and ended up being intimate with her, which was witnessed by his girlfriend at the bonfire.

Temptation Island Season 4 is still airing on USA Network, but fans believe they already know at least two couples who are still together following filming.

Lascelles Lagares and Ashley Rodriguez are reportedly still together

After a seven-year relationship, Lascelles Lagares and girlfriend Ashley Rodriguez went on Temptation Island. They felt too “dependent” on one another.

Although Lascelles is seemingly falling for a single in his villa, and Ashley developed a connection with someone, it seems as though they chose each other following filming.

A few weeks after the show premiered, Lascelles posted about a pop-up shop he attended in Sunset Park. Fans paid close attention, noticing he tagged an account (via Reddit).

Ashley uploaded a selfie to her Instagram story, showcasing a diamond on her tooth. She thanked the same account Lascelles tagged in his post, leading fans to believe they attended the Brooklyn, New York event together.

Iris Jardiel and Luke Wechselberger were allegedly together for Coachella

Another couple, Iris Jardiel and Luke Wechselberger, signed up for the show due to their trust issues that threatened their five-year relationship.

While she quickly connected with a single she met, he’s hoping to show Iris that he’s the guy for her.

Around the same time as Lascelles and Ashley’s pictures, fans noticed that Iris and Luke seemed to have attended Coachella together. She uploaded a picture of her outfit in a backyard to her Instagram story and tagged the California-based music festival.

He posted a photo of what fans believe was the same backyard and also tagged the event. Therefore, it’s assumed the couple is still together.

Ashley brought her and Lascelles on the show, pointing out they had “gotten comfortable” in their near-decade-long relationship. Additionally, she wants to get married but noted they hadn’t experienced life with other people.

Ashley quickly formed an emotional connection with Blake Blumenshine, something she wanted more of with Lascelles. However, he admittedly isn’t in touch with his emotions as much as she wants. Watching her emotional bond develop through the weekly bonfires didn’t concern him because he felt they wanted the process.

On the other hand, it seemingly hurt her to watch him get close to Trace Winningham. He told her she’s everything he needed and broke down in tears at one point. He admitted he would have to choose between breaking her heart or his girlfriend’s and later announced to the villa that he would only pursue Trace moving forward.

Trust issues brought Iris and Luke to the show. Her partying ways caused him to feel insecure, resulting in him reaching out to women. Iris quickly connected with George Maxey as she appreciated his “thoughtfulness” but cut things off after wanting to be happy by herself. He hasn’t gotten particularly close with anyone yet but seems focused on having fun and showing his girlfriend that he wants to continue a relationship with her. Temptation Island airs Wednesdays on USA Network.

‘Temptation Island’ host Mark L. Walberg says he will officiate a wedding for a past couple

During a March 2022 interview with Access, host Mark L. Walberg, 59, acknowledged people who are only looking to get cast on a reality television show so they can become influencers.

He admitted he does believe some couples or singles are there for that reason but admitted he doesn’t care because “it becomes real very quickly,” no matter your intentions. When asked if couples exit the island “stronger,” the host explained his “goal” is that everyone involved in the experience leaves “in a better place” from where they started.

Mark has been training for the final bonfires all season.
