MAC Over the Taupe Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolour ($24.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which applied evenly and didn't emphasize my lip lines, but it pilled a bit in places.

I had better luck applying it a second time when I used less product--I only applied it to the center of my lips and around the cupid's bow and then used my fingertip to diffuse the product to the outer edges of my lips; the applicator routinely over-applied product. The liquid lipstick has a smooth, velvety consistency that felt creamy without being slippery. This shade stayed on nicely for six and a half hours and felt neither drying nor hydrating over time.
