NOT SHINY LIP BALM JANUARY 09, 2022 CHRISTY WASHINGTON, DC

I really wanted to love this but I don't. My biggest complaint with this product is that it is not super shiny. It looks nothing like the photos. It has much less coverage and much less shine. It's advertised as three swipes to full coverage, but it takes more like 10 swipes back and forth to get anything resembling the stock photos. In terms of color, I bought 910 Intuitive which is more red than pink. In fact, it looks just like the 907 Confidant picture. So that was disappointing; wish I had bought a different color. It's not very long lasting, especially if you prefer a full coverage lipstick look. This is more like slightly shiny, tinted lip balm. The consistency is slick like oil. I'm not saying it's oily (just trying to describe the texture), which is honestly pretty unique and nice for a lip product. In terms of moisturizing qualities, it's pretty good with multiple applications throughout the day. I have to reapply frequently to keep the color and shine, so I'm using up a lot of product in a short timespan. If you're looking for a lot of shine, buy a lip gloss instead. Overall, I rate this 2 out of 5 for misleading advertising.
