Hands down the best experience I have ever had at a movie theater, but not for the reason you are thinking. Sure the staff were fast and kind, the theater was well maintained and cleaned, and the food was great as well BUT the reason I give five stars is for the employees and managers reactions about autism.

With COVID, we have never had a family trip to the movies. Another factor for us to have in mind is that our 4 year old son has autism. He is easily overstimulated by new places and loud sounds so naturally a movie theater has not been in the cards.

I walked to the ticket desk and asked if it was possible to take my son into an operating theater to see how he would react before we bought our tickets. The attendant was very kind and said he would call his manager over but he didn't see why not. When the manager arrived, I explained that my son was on the autism spectrum and wanted to see if he could tolerate a theater before we committed to buying tickets. Typical experiences I have encountered with people and autism have been negative. I have received pushback and comments in the past, but this manager assured me that was no issue at all and asked what movie we planned to see. I told him Sonic 2 and he escorted us to a theater playing that movie so my son could have a true feel for what we would see and hear.

Some of you reading this may not truly understand the magnitiude of such a small gesture but to me and my family it was an unforgettable moment. My son did very well and we purchased our tickets happily a few minutes later. He was ecstatic to see Sonic and it was just a heartwarming experience that needs to be shared in my opinion. A little kindest goes a long way.

What's not to love about a good ol' night at the movies, amirite? For me it's been ages since I've last watched a movie in theatres, mostly due to COVID and the fact that everything I watch nowadays is online or streamed. It was definitely nice to go back to somewhat "normal" and be around other people again.

My friends and I are huge MARVEL buffs so we decided to get our closest pal together to watch the new Eternals movie in theatres. Looking into prices, we sure were stunned seeing that prices of movies have definitely gone up since we've last seen on in theatres; about $12-$15 per person. With that being said we also wanted to keep in mind the safety of everyone and thought, what about buying out an entire theatre for our closest comrades? To our surprise it was a pretty decent price--it cost us about $300 for a max. party of 30 people. Not bad, right?!
